Wasabi is a Super Food:

Wasabi comes from a good food family; including such health giants as broccoli, horseradish, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower and kale. All of these are well-known detoxifying plants, and wasabi appears to be the most amazing of them all, with detox capacities far beyond the others because it is loaded with isothiocyanate precursors. This chemical not only gives wasabi its famous “fire,” it is likewise a fireball of detoxification properties.

Paw Paw Fruit:

The pawpaw is a delicious fruit indigenous to this country and was eaten by Native Americans and early settlers. The fruit has a distinctive creamy custard texture and a sweet mango banana like flavor.

Pawpaw fruit is reported to be higher in proteins and carbohydrates than apples, peaches and grapes, and it contains high levels of amino acids, vitamins A and C, and many minerals.

Red Plum:

Plum is a fruit that is related to the family of peaches and cherries. It is one of those fruits that are rich in dietary fiber, which in turn proves effective in improving the digestive system. There are thousands of varieties of plums that are available throughout the world, ranging in colors like red, blue-black, purple, yellow, green or amber. Plums are believed to have originated in Asia and since then, they have been grown all over the world.

Ginger has long been renowned for its use in cooking and for its aromatic smell, but did you know that there are also many health benefits of ginger root such as helping with digestion, nausea, circulation and arthritis.  Ginger is a plant that comes from Southeast Asia, and is now also cultivated in Jamaica and other tropical areas.

Ginger is a natural spice and is known world wide for its smell and pungent taste and has been used by Chinese herbalists for more than 2,500 years as flavoring in food and also as a medicine.

Mint:

Mint has been used in healing remedies for many centuries. It has a terrific smell and tastes great! One of the most common forms of use for mint is that is that it can settle a nervous stomach.  Mint is also widely known as a treatment for digestive conditions and is said to slow the effects of bacteria or fungus and help with asthma and other allergies.
